FOCUS

Today as the team visited FOCUS, they were all overwhelmed by the vigor and zeal that the staff and students there praised the Lord. The team was immediately met with open arms, as several of the staff at FOCUS greeted them with a handshake, a friendly smile, and a warm welcome. There was a tent set up for the team to sit under in case of rain, and sure enough about 30 minutes into their visit it began to rain. It was here that they were introduced to several of the staff at FOCUS including Beatrice Langariti, the general secretary of FOCUS Uganda. Although the FOCUS staff was small, and lacking in resources, they never ceased to praise the Lord at how blessed they were to have the few resources that they did. The team was treated to a performance by some of the children who are in the FOCUS program, and it was received with many smiles and laughs. Overall, the excitment and graciousness of receiving us was humbling. The people felt more honored to welcome us than anyone expected. The love of The Almighty was shown in every moment of the day there
