Walter Thompson, Carole Campbell, David Peters, Zureyma Thompson and Karen Winkler had the privilege of worshiping with the Mbale Presbyterian Church. Carole Campbell taught the women’s Sunday school lesson on the Book of Esther. Many women visited with her after the lesson and expressed their thanks for the encouragement she shared. David Peters led the Men’s Sunday school on the Ten Commandments with the support of Walter. Walter’s take on David’s lesson, “ He rocked it!” What an amazing experience for David to have on his first Sunday in Uganda. Karen Winkler and Zureyma Thompson led the children’s Sunday school lesson on gifts and talents, using a puzzle to show how each of us must use their piece to complete God’s plan. Walter’s sermon was based on the parable of the Good Samaritan. It was well received by all and completed a wonderful time with the congregation of Mbale Presbyterian.
