Ogosoi Village Crusade

God blessed us today in our village of Ogosoi. After an hour and a half ride, much of which was on a dirt road, we arrived to warm smiling faces. Each team member was paired up with a translator and we were off on the trail.
The morning was very warm, but it didn't stop the group from spreading God's word.  After a lunch of spaghetti and meat sauce, we played with the children. At first the children were timid, but it did not take them long to warm up. Once you see a Ugandan child smile, it's hard not to smile back.

Janice, Carter and Robin all gave their testimonies, and with their strong words of encouragement came strong winds and clouds. Hallelujah! Each one of their testimonies brought raised hands and many "Amens" from The crowd. As the afternoon cooled down, more and more people trickled onto the grounds of the crusade.
We ended the crusade and the day with a powerful sermon from Jeff. Jeff preached on the importance of our obedience to God. He told the story of Peter and Cornelius in Acts. He depicted the visions Peter and Cornelius simultaneously had from God, which in turn led to their obedience, which further led to Cornelius salvation. Jeff preached that if we too have the same obedience God will guide us in the path of His light.
Praise The Lord our God for such a glorious first day on the trail!
